Professor Martin Hendry
Generations of movie-goers have marvelled at the Star Wars universe and countless other science-fiction marvels. But how much real science is up there on the big screen? Could we ever travel to other planets using shortcuts through hyperspace? Could a Jedi Knight really fight with a lightsabre? In this talk, astrophysicist and life-long Star Wars fan Martin Hendry explores the science of Star Wars, Star Trek and Interstellar. Come along and feel the force!
