We all have that one friend who seems completely incapable of making a decision. Where should we go for dinner? What should we watch on TV? What would you like to do on Saturday? It can be very frustrating… I, however, AM that person who can never decide. You think it’s frustrating? Well it is! Because of this, I sought to understand how decisions are made, in the hopes it would make it easier to decide… Well, let me tell you. It doesn’t.
ACTing in society

This is a brief presentation about something called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and how this can be applied to the problems within society. This includes everything from helping people with anxiety and stress, chronic pain, and student mental health. It’s also a great tool to help you work towards what is meaningful to you in your life such as keeping healthy, being confident, and being the person you want to be!
