We believe that science doesn't have to be serious, and so do our fantastic panel of comic scientists! Our comedians will be giving a series of short talks based both on science and on making you laugh!

Dr Sally Adams

Dr Sally Adams (Lecturer, Department of Psychology)

My research interests are in the psychopharmacology of alcohol and tobacco use; specifically I am interested in the cognitive and neurobiological mechanisms that underpin addictive behaviours. My current research reflects my interests in health behaviours and initiating behavioural change through targeting implicit cognitions. As a researcher I have extensive experience in laboratory studies and large clinical trials in the field of human psychopharmacology. I am passionate about public engagement and science communication.
