I’m a Research Partnership Project Officer working at Bangor University. I love science and enjoy
sharing my passion with the public and I’m looking forward to getting Pint of Science to N. Wales and
hope we can get more events like this set up here!
I studied Zoology & now work for NRW on the Protected Species Licensing team. I love how science bridges the gaps in our understanding of the world around us and I check it out for myself every chance I get by travelling, wild-swimming and snorkelling.
I’m a PhD student in environmental sciences researching the site level impacts of climate change in collaboration with the National Trust. Outside of university I love being outdoors in the hills of Snowdonia and coastlines of the Llyn Peninsula.
I've worked around the water for a few years. Seeing the damage done by man to the ocean is heart-breaking especially when I was working in Cyprus and the plastic washed up on beaches along with distressed turtles. I'm really excited to be getting involved with Pint of Science as it takes it's first...
I am a PhD student researching how people access natural spaces and benefit from spending time outdoors. I’m excited to be part of the team presenting some amazing projects to the public as we bring Pint of Science to Bangor for the first time.
