The Universe is made of matter that we can and can’t see. Take a trip into the dark side and allow yourself to have an insight into the invisible with tonight’s talks on dark matter

How many Dark Matter particles are there in my pint? (And how do you know I'm not just making the answer up?)

Dr Malcolm Fairbairn
Dr. Fairbairn will explain why we think that we can only see around one eighth of the matter in the Universe and that the rest must be invisible Dark Matter. He will then explain how we are trying to find out what this Dark Matter is in space, down mines and at the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland.
