Sophie, the world’s most complete Stegosaurus

Dr Susannah Maidment
In December 2013, The Natural History Museum unveiled its latest acquisition: the most complete Stegosaurus ever found. Nicknamed Sophie, it offers us an unprecedented opportunity to study this fascinating and iconic, yet poorly understood, animal. Susannah, a vertebrate palaeontologist and sedimentologist, will talk about how Sophie was discovered and the cutting edge technology that is being used to understand all about Sophie.
