You can probably tell a scam email from a legitimate one but can you also tell whether you reshared a deepfake on your social media, trusted a hacked chatbot that is leaking your personal information, or installed an AI smart home device that is making your home less safe? This talk will be an introduction on the way AI works in everyday life, the brand new risks the recent mass expansion of AI use has introduced and everyone's role in protecting themselves and their communities from these risks.
