Where Have All the Insects Gone?

There have been many reports recently of big reductions in the numbers of insects worldwide. Some are even calling it an ‘Insectageddon’. In my talk, I will discuss what the evidence really tells us about insect declines. I will also explore the causes of insect declines, why this matters to us (look away now if you like coffee or chocolate!), and what we can do to help (it’s not all bad news!).
