We have brought together scientists and artists from across Birmingham to make artworks based on inspriation from science happening accross the city! At this opening night we will have those pairings in the gallery along with their work to discuss the inspiration behind the art and for attendees to learn about the creativity and techniques behind the pieces on display. Drop in anytime during the opening, registration not required but strongly encouraged! Doing so will help us know numbers and we will send you a reminder

Charlotte Dunn, who works primarily in drawing using scientific illustration as a foundation, is working with Gemma Regan-Mochrie on the effect of histone mutations on DNA in cells.

Rowanne Fleck, a potter with an interest in engineering, is working on a project with Leah-Nani Alconcel whose work revolves around the sustainability of space and recycling spacecraft.

Megan Reddi (Illustrator and Printmaker)

Megan Reddi, an illustrator and printmaker from Birmingham, is collaborating with Rachel Mailes, looking at the relationship between carbon and biodiversity in forests.

Our Society

Chloe Waterman (Ceramicist)

Chloe Waterman is a ceramicist who experiments with mixed clays, and is working on a project with Priyanka Mokale on the resettlement of Mumbai's marginalised communities.
