How is forensic science really done? In this talk, Dan will focus on the role of the forensic expert, as opposed to the CSI. You’ll discover how forensic scientists work at scenes and in in the lab to help provide evidence to assist the Criminal Justice System. Dan will include some case examples and there will be some audience participation!

How do juries make decisions? Join Georgina to consider the types of biases that can impact our ability to make fair and impartial decisions in court (for defendants, victims and witnesses). We’ll discuss new techniques that courts are using to overcome these biases.
