Professor Andy Adcroft from Surrey Business School asks you to imagine if everything you thought you knew about education was wrong and that most education practices were getting in the way of people learning. Imagine the world is your oyster and innovation is king. To tell you more, serial inventor and innovator Will Lanham-New will be telling all about the journey he has taken to turn his ideas into reality.

(Nearly) everything you know about education is wrong

Professor Andy Adcroft (Deputy Dean of Surrey Business School)
Imagine if everything you thought you knew about education was wrong and that most education practices were getting in the way of people learning rather than helping them learn. This talk will explore what does and doesn’t work in the classroom, why it does and doesn’t work and why nothing really changes. The talk will be bringing evidence to an education fight and will explain why that doesn’t always work out for the best.
