Game On: Interactive Learning

Bradford City of Culture 2025 meets Railway 200, a nationwide campaign marking 200 years of the Stockton & Darlington Railway. To mark the occasion, this quiz brings Bradford’s railway history to life. Beyond trivia, it reveals untold stories of migration, social change, and socio-spatial evolution. Framing Bradford within wider regional and national geographies, the quiz aims to foster connection, transforming our perception of the railways as ‘infrastructure’ into a lived and evolving experience.

Learning is helped by experiences that are playful, joyful, meaningful, actively engaging, iterative and socially interactive. Dr Sannia Farooque will talk about an innovative learning and teaching method, extensively used at the University of Bradford called Team-based Learning (TBL).
