Protein Shakes & Mistakes
Ana and Ali
(Early Career Researchers)
Ana and Ali are early-career researchers with a shared interest in nutrition and metabolism. Both completed their Master’s training in the Blouet lab, where they explored how diet influences health and behaviour. Ana is now continuing this work as a PhD student, while Ali is preparing to begin his PhD at Imperial College London. Together, they are passionate about making nutrition science accessible, and enjoy unpacking big questions - like what role protein really plays in our diets. Ana and Ali explore how protein shapes appetite, eating habits, and health, unpacking the science behind common diet trends and what they might mean for everyday life.
