Rachel Sellick (PhD researcher in the Brain Repair Group and Fly Lab at Cardiff University)
During her PhD, Rachel has been investigating how changes to protein and gene expression can impact the onset of symptoms in neurodegenerative disorders. Rachel will present her findings relating to the genetic neurological condition, Huntington's Disease. From flies to mice Rachel will show us how she uses animal models to hunt for new scientific discoveries!
