We often talk about breakthrough research and new discoveries but a lot of times the intended message is lost. So how could we talk about Science in such a way that both informs and inspires the audience in equal measure?

The most effective science communication strategy: Exhibit A

Sophie Weeks (Producer, Art and Science Soirée)
Science Communication, Science Engagement, STEM, Science Education have all become 'things'. Sophie Weeks takes a creative, perhaps disruptive look, explaining why she created The Art & Science Soirée, and is developing The Colour Institute.

The Variables present: an introduction to science comedy

Michael Conterio (Comedian and science communicator)
Cambridge's Science Comedy Troupe, "The Variables", and their founder, Michael Conterio, demonstrate how and why they make science funny. Come prepared to laugh at their stories from scientific life, both in and out of the lab!

Creative Reactions
