"If you ever get close to a human and human behavior....Be ready, be ready to get confused." Bjork, 1993.

Join us for an evening of talks on different aspects of human behaviour.

What do men want? Muscularity preferences and body image in young men

Every day we see a multitude of people, both in real life and in the media. How does this constant exposure to other bodies influence our own body preferences, and our self-image? This talk will explore how young men’s muscularity preferences and own body image are influenced by the bodies they see and consider the effects of the muscular ideal portrayed by the media.

Goosebumps!

Almost everyone (even your dog) gets goosebumps - but why? What is your body trying to tell you? Let’s talk about goosebumps and what they can tell us about how our body works and the similarities between humans and other species of animals.
