Storing Sunlight: Producing a Fuel from Water
Anna Reynal
(lecturer in Chemistry at Teesside University)
Solar energy is the main energy source of our planet and can be converted into electricity using solar panels. But the sun doesn’t always shine, so solar energy needs to be stored so that it can be used when needed. In this interactive talk, we will explore how solar energy can be used to drive chemical reactions, such as splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen.
