Do you enjoy science and comedy and wished that there was some way you could have both at the same time!? Well my friend, tonight is your lucky night! Join us @ The Humber Street Gallery for something very different as we put several local comedic legends on the stage and on the spot as they present science for the very first time. What are they talking about? Well, your guess is as good as theirs.

Jed Salisbury

Jed Salisbury (Comedian)
Jed Salisbury, One of the best things from Hull since Chip Spice! Taking the audience on an adventure of hilarity from a mind that has seen too many bad movies and too much late-night television. Jed is a multi-award-winning Stand-up Comedian, Actor, Writer, T.V star and Tedx Speaker. Jed has spent the last decade establishing himself on the British comedy circuit with his contagious energy and playful nature. Gigging at prestigious comedy clubs, festivals and major events in the U.K, Jed is on the precipice of becoming a huge star of the future.

Chris Percy

Chris Percy (Comedian)
Chris Percy, is a physicist by day, comedian by bedtime. He is a familiar face on the local comedy scene. Born in Hull, he has lived in, or close to, the city all his life. Chris is neurologically diverse, he is also a deep and constant thinker. He has a degree in Physics from the University of Hull and has contributed to several scientific papers. His comedy is an energetic mix of well-thought-out one-liners and short stories. He can often be found in comedy clubs laughing at his own jokes.

Lucy Marti

Lucy Marti (Comedian )
Lucy Marti is a Dominican stand-up comic and doctor who moved to Hull after living in Barcelona for 8 years just one month before the pandemic. She ran and hosted Hush Hush Comedy, one of Barcelona’s most beloved English Stand Up Comedy Showcases. Her comedy is based on her charming wit and down-to-earth perspective on life's everyday problems as a doctor and a Latinx living in England, creating a lovable character that is endearing to all audiences.

Rich Austin

Rich Austin (Comedian )
The audience's favourite" and yet still somehow only Cottingham Comedy Club’s second-best compère, "Rich Austin is not the six million dollar man but his performance, worth a million dollars!" An infectious and highly entertaining comedian. Fun fact: Annie Lennox once sang “I’m living in an empty room with all the windows smashed”. Rich Austin has been to that house. It’s in Grimsby.

Gary Jennison

Gary Jennison (Comedian )
Expect observations with a twist, with surreal energy and unrivaled enthusiasm – all for your entertainment.

“The ever-funny Gary Jennison. His entrance was amazing, with expert comedic timing, and expert use of time in his act, he entertained from start to finish.” Hull Today
