We are living in a highly changing society nowadays. It is sometimes confusing and stressful. To help people cope with such situations, scientists are trying to find more ways to improve our mental health and understand the science behind our choices and behaviours. In this event, we will share with you the latest research results in mental heath and behaviour, to help you understand your minds better, and how to take care of yourselves.

Nudging Behaviour - the science of being human

Jonathan Beebee (he/him) (Jonathan is a Registered Nurse in Learning Disabilities with a Masters in Positive Behaviour Support. )
Sam Corbett (she/her) ( Sam is a UK Behaviour Analyst (Certified) and is currently employed as the Senior PBS Clinician for PBS4.)
Do you ever find yourself doing things and not sure why - scrolling on social media, going into a supermarket for one thing and coming out with the entire middle aisle? Behaviour Analysts have been studying this for decades and it is a science used across multiple sectors. From supporting your favourite athlete to perfect there technique, improving aviation safety, supporting individuals with disabilities to learn new skills, to increasing consumer behaviour. Behaviour Analysis is underpinning and influencing everything we do .... for better or worse!
