Discover the hidden world beneath your fingertips in this interactive microscopy workshop. Participants will create their own microscope slides using vitamin C and cells from their own skin, collected through a simple sellotape skin peel technique.
Using a large stereomicroscope connected to a projector, you’ll be able to view your own hands in magnified detail.

Surface Echoes is a resource that brings to life the everyday challenges and emotional impact of eczema. This event will introduce a downloadable resource, consisting of a printable script and a digital audio version. Developed to create empathy, spark conversation, and deepen understanding of the realities of living with the condition, this session will include an opportunity to read and discuss the project.
