A day in my life at the Drug Control Centre

Ivana Gavrilovic (Postdoctoral Research Analyst )
The Drug Control Centre (DCC) at King’s College London has gained a reputation as one of the foremost anti-doping laboratories in the world. Ivana Gavrilovic will describe some of the daily activities at the DCC from the moment the samples arrive to when the results are delivered. As an example of current work, Ivana will talk about how researchers investigate the metabolism of designer drugs in the human body and set up methods to detect their use.
