Dark Energy
Dark Energy is the BIGGEST problem in modern physics. Astronomers watch how the stars in the Universe move and have deduced that we don't know what 95% of the matter in the Universe is! It's dark and not like atomic matter. Meanwhile particle physicists have discovered the higgs boson at the LHC, a new sort of matter that is an example of Dark Energy. But particle physicists have billions upon billions too much of the stuff for the astronomers. What's going on? We don't know but it's fun…
Can a black hole obliterate the Panama papers?
Einstein's general relativity is our current theory to describe gravity. With it we got a better understanding of the universe, and also discovered new things that are out there, like black holes. In this talk we will see what they are, and why we care so much about losing the things that fall inside - the so-called black hole information paradox.
