New ways to find out if you have cancer - wee pots at the ready!

My research group is looking for proteins that are unique to cancer cells. We have found a protein that is only present in ovarian cancer cells and could let us detect ovarian cancer in the very earliest stages of disease. We know that the earlier you find cancer the easier it is to treat and the more successful the treatment is likely to be. So now we are
looking for proteins in wee that would help us find cancer early. And then we could check a lot more people for cancer, before they even know they have it.
