The metaphysics of our mind

Dr John Donaldson teaches philosophy at the University of Glasgow. His main research interests are in the philosophy of mind, particularly the metaphysics of mind: the problem of mental causation, the mind-body problem, and the prospects for materialist accounts of mental phenomena. He also takes an interest in reductive versus non-reductive projects in science more generally, the development of the philosophy of mind in the twentieth century, intentionalism in the philosophy of art, and David Hume.
